See the radio signals around you, and keep the record.
Consentiva turns your phone and a pocket radio receiver into a walking spectrum analyzer. It records what is on the air, learns what is normal on each block, points out what isn't, and gives you a dated, tamper-evident record that you own.
Works with a HackRF One receiver and Chrome on Android. 3-day free trial on paid plans.
How it works
Four steps from your street to a record you can share.
No app to install. Open Consentiva in Chrome, plug in the receiver, and walk.
Connect
Plug the receiver into an Android phone, then open consentiva.xyz/app in Chrome. That's it: nothing to install.
On an iPhone? Send yourself a one-time phone link and open it on any Android.
Walk and mark
Consentiva sweeps the airwaves every few seconds and tags each sweep with GPS. See a vehicle, an antenna, a boat or a low aircraft? Tap a button, hold to record a short note, and record a video clip with the RF data burned in.
Compare
It learns what is normal for each block and time of day, and flags signals that are well above normal, with the service they most likely belong to.
Keep the record
Every walk becomes a report: map, timeline, your marks and the signals found. Download the full evidence package at any time.
What you get
A clear answer to "what's on the air here?"
- Live alerts while you walk: Normal, or Unusual with the frequency and the likely service (cellular, Wi-Fi, radio, radar…).
- Walk reports with your route coloured by how unusual each block was, a timeline, and your marks with any audio notes.
- Evidence packages: one download with the raw measurements, your recordings and a hash chain anyone can verify.
- Baselines that improve each time you walk the same streets, by block and time of day.

Everything in the app
What you can do on a walk, and after it
All of this runs in Chrome: no app to install. Features marked Paid plans need Standard, Full or Pro; the rest work on every plan.

Live spectrum and alerts
See the signals around you as you walk. Each sweep is compared with what's normal for that block and time of day, and flagged Normal or Unusual with the frequency and likely service.
Alerts: paid plans
Video evidence
Film a passing car, police or fire vehicle, boat or aircraft. The time, your GPS position and the live RF reading are burned into every frame, the file is fingerprinted, and the report shows what the receiver measured during the clip.
Paid plans
One-tap labels
Tell the clip what you are filming without typing: car, van, truck, police, fire, federal, bus, boat, aircraft, drone, antenna and more. The label is saved with the video and shows in your report.

Marks on the map
One tap marks a vehicle, antenna, aircraft, boat, how you're feeling, or anything else, at your exact position and time, so the report lines up what you saw with what was on the air.

Linked phones
Send a one-time link (valid 6 to 72 hours) to a partner's or friend's Android. It records into your account with no username or password. iPhone users can record this way on any Android today.

Tamper-evident evidence
Every measurement, mark, voice clip and video is chained with SHA-256. Download one evidence package with the raw data, the recordings, the report and instructions anyone can use to check nothing was changed, or drop it on consentiva.xyz/verify and your browser checks it, with nothing uploaded.

Records with no signal
No coverage on your route? Keep walking. Everything is saved on the phone and uploads by itself when you're back online.

Phone, laptop or tablet
Android phones with Chrome, or Windows, Mac and Linux laptops with Chrome or Edge. Use a HackRF for the full 1 MHz–6 GHz range, or start with an RTL-SDR stick from about $40 (beta). What to buy

Help when you need it
Sign in with a passkey (Face ID, fingerprint or screen lock; no passwords). Open a support ticket in the app with a screenshot and get answers by email and in the app; paid plans get priority.

Share what you recorded
Turn a finished walk into a public link: the readings, the spectrum, your video if you choose, and a way for anyone to check the record. The page never shows your email, a map or your voice notes.
All plans
Post it anywhere
One tap to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Truth Social, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram, email or text, with the link and caption filled in. For Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, save the video and copy the caption. The link card shows your walk's own spectrum.
All plans
Surveys and floor plans
Group walks into one site visit. Upload a floor plan, tap where you are as you walk, and get a heat map plus a table of the strongest reading in each room, ready to print or save as a PDF.
ProWhat it collects
Measurements, not guesses.
Consentiva records
- Radio-signal strength across the band you choose, every few seconds
- Where and when each measurement was taken (GPS, during walks you start)
- Your marks: a tap, a note, a short voice clip, or a video clip you choose to record
- The receiver settings used, so results can be repeated
Consentiva does not
- Diagnose health effects; an unusual signal is a measurement, not a verdict
- Transmit anything: it only listens
- Record conversations: audio notes are hold-to-record, and video sound is off unless you turn it on
Plans
Start free. Unlock the analysis when you need it.
Every plan records and can share. Paid plans show you the analysis, keep your walks, and let you download the evidence.
You need a USB receiver, sold separately. Consentiva is the software; it works with an RTL-SDR stick (from about $40) or a HackRF. See what to buy. Plans don't include hardware, and payments aren't refundable, so get your receiver first or use the free trial to check it works.

Always improving
Consentiva is in constant development. Tell us what to build.
We ship improvements every week and build what our members ask for. If there is something you wish Consentiva did, a report you need, a platform you want to post to, a receiver you want supported, tell us. Paid members get priority.
What's new
- Share a walk: a public link with your readings, spectrum and video, with one-tap posting to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Truth Social, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram and more. See a sample
- Link previews drawn from your own spectrum, so a post shows what you actually measured.
- Surveys and floor plans (Pro): tap your position as you walk, get a heat map and a per-room table.
- Check any evidence package in your browser at /verify, now with signed packages.
- Team workspaces: read-only sharing with teammates, coming to the Business plan.
- Replay any walk like a recording, with a Device check and a clock check to catch set-up problems.
Request a feature
Members: open the app, go to Help & support and tap Suggest a feature. We read every one, tell you what we decide, and build the ones that help most.
Not a member yet? Email support@consentiva.xyz with your idea.
Ideas we'd love to hear:
- A report or export you need (a PDF with your own logo, a spreadsheet, a different layout)
- A platform you want to post to, or a receiver you want supported
- Something that gets in your way when you walk, or a feature you wish worked differently
Tell us what you're trying to do and what's in the way; that helps us most.
Questions
Frequently asked
Can I ask for a feature?
Yes, please. Consentiva is in constant development and we build what members ask for. In the app, open Help & support and tap Suggest a feature; paid members get priority. You can also email support@consentiva.xyz.
Can I share what I recorded?
Yes, on every plan including Free. Finish a walk and tap Share to get a public link with your readings, the spectrum and, if you choose, your video. You can post it to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Truth Social, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram, email or text in one tap, and save the video for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. The page never shows your email, a map or your voice notes, and you can stop sharing at any time. Videos carry your GPS position, so the app asks you to confirm before sharing one.
Does "unusual" mean something is wrong?
No. It means a signal was clearly stronger than what Consentiva has learnt is normal for that block at that time of day. Most turn out to be ordinary: a nearby radio, a delivery van's data modem, a new cell site. Consentiva tells you the likely service so you can judge.
Can it show who is transmitting?
Record video during the walk (any paid plan). The measurements show where and when a signal was strongest; the video shows who or what was there at that moment (a vehicle and its plate, a boat, an aircraft, a person with an antenna), with the time, GPS position and live RF reading burned into every frame and lined up with the signal in the report. Being in the same place at the same time does not prove that person or vehicle was the source of a signal.
What does "+36 dB above normal" mean, and what can't it tell me?
It is the difference between a signal's level in this walk and the typical level Consentiva has recorded for that same frequency, block and time of day. It is a relative, uncalibrated reading from your receiver, not an absolute exposure measurement, and it does not establish a dangerous exposure, an unlawful transmitter, a specific source or intent. What a receiver sees also depends on its antenna, its gain, how often it sweeps (a short transmission can fall between sweeps) and the surroundings. Consentiva only receives; it never transmits.
How does it learn what's normal?
Each walk teaches it what is typical for every ~150 m block, separately for night, morning, afternoon and evening, and separately for each receiver, antenna and gain setting so readings are compared like with like. Walk your usual routes on two or three different days and the comparison becomes sharper.
What is an evidence package?
A zip file with the raw measurements, your voice clips and video, the report, a scan-coverage summary, a manifest listing the SHA-256 of every file, and the SHA-256 hash chain. It also contains a small verifier that anyone can run offline, with no Consentiva account, to check that nothing was altered after it was recorded. It shows the package is intact, not that the receiver was calibrated.
Is it legal to use?
Consentiva only receives, which is generally lawful. Respect privacy and trespass rules, and don't record other people's conversations; Florida requires everyone's consent. See our Terms.
I have an iPhone. Can I use Consentiva?
Yes, for part of it. In Safari an iPhone can open Consentiva, record marks, GPS and video, and try the app's practice mode (practice data is always labelled as such). What an iPhone can't do is connect to a USB receiver from a web page, so it can't measure real radio signals itself, and our iPhone app is in development. Until then, a paid account can send a one-time link to any Android phone with Chrome. That phone connects with no username or password and records live RF into your account under your plan, while your iPhone logs marks, GPS and video on the same walk.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Amazon Pay, Cash App Pay and Link. You choose at checkout; Apple Pay shows on Apple devices and Safari, and Google Pay and Samsung Pay on Android phones and in Chrome. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your card number.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Manage billing in the app. You keep access until the end of the paid period, and walks recorded while subscribed stay in your account.
